CONSTRUCTION
Two
types of oil outflow heaters are manufactured.
(a) Electric (b) Electric plus Steam /
Hot Water
Heater
consist of a mild steel vessel having
a flanged body for bolting directly to
the wall of storage tanks. A flanged outlet
is fitted to heaters as standard and an
oil return may also be fitted. The outlet
being on the right-hand side as shown
in the drawing. Heater shrouds are vented
to prevent air pockets.
(a)
Electric Oil Outflow Heaters are fitted
with unbreakable withdrawable type elements
having terminals and busbars enclosed
in a terminal box. Flameproof terminal
enclosures may also be fitted.
(b)
Electric plus Steam / Hot Water Heaters
are fitted with mild steel heating coils
with screwed BSP flow and return connections.
